MISSION VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER
The Mission Valley Animal Shelter depends upon the kindness, generosity, and love for animals that we all share. Our goal to reduce the numbers of abandoned and unwanted pets, through adoption and education, can not work without the participation and kindness of people like you. Our shelter is managed and supported by both a center director and a host of wonderful volunteers who help us with maintenance of the facilities and care for the animals in our care. Please feel free to stop by our facilities at any time and visit the dogs and cats who are eagerly anticipating your arrival. Take them for a walk, or give them a good scratching, to learn how much joy a pet can bring to your life.

The annual Doggy Dash is in September. We have been doing this for 20+ years and is our largest fundraiser. Come strut your mutt and win prizes in the contests. Details in local papers later. Support lMVAS!
